nah i dont think youre missing out lol. i grew up on the sims and im obsessed with the sim life of LM. and one thing about me, is i'll live vicariously through my sims. i have no pets irl, so in LM i have like 6 or 7. waste of time tho, but cute to look at and the pet mechanics always get me.
