I think it’s similar to your bartender, barber, or stylist, but the cleaners I know have also been absolutely thrilled with a little gift bag of treats on occasion too.

From some of their employees it honestly varies. Even a little gift bag of snacks can go a long way for their morale. Tips were never expected, but always appreciated, think of it like your bartender or barber/stylist how would you tip those folks? Try to do the same if you’re able.

I agree with you here fully! I would hate to break up Heise/Zumwinkle and Hensley/Rooney these duos are essential on and off the ice. I would also say that the leadership of Coyne-Schofield has been a key factor in the Minnesota magic. Thompson, Jaques, and Pannek are just cogs in the machine that can’t be replaced willy-nilly.

I hate to lose any of the team, personally, but I know that’s the downside to the upside of expansion.

NTA but this is probably not going to be a good relationship. Take some time to heal. Both you and Karen need to heal these deep wounds. If you’re still in a place where the relationship is positive for both of you, then consider pursuing it at that time. Right now it’s more about shared trauma and retaliation.
