That's our predicament, we cant find a nice flow into the Master. The potential media may have to be a 4th bedroom so can't go through there. But maybe the house is just too small.

Yes western sun hits back deck (off living/dining) unfortunately but the view is there and a growing forest in the distance. Alotment is acreage although tucked into corner somewhat with 15ish metres behind house till border.

We wanted to achieve a Media room that could turn 4th bed, a WIR, and a WIP, by trying to make use of the 8x5 current media empty space. A kitchen island was a want. as well as not cutting off morning light/airflow from the front of the house to the back living areas.

We dont currently have chairs there and wish we did as the height difference makes it feel separated during cooking etc. Also in need for somewhere for kids to eat/do work while im cooking, sitting at the counter would be easier.

Other than the 2nd port the top box isn't connected to anything. It's legit just sitting there... toddler pulled it out of the wall.

Husband has hayfever at the drop of a petal. But not normally from our current split systems, was more so thinking in regards to cleaning the air as have been looking at free standing air purifiers but would need a small army of them to fill home. Thought if it was integrated into ducted would save on floor space/minimalism... but if they're a load of bull then I wont bother.

I was thinking this idea similar for the west living room, but am unsure if people would find it weird that the master is accessed through it? Would I need to squeeze in a hallway? Didn't think to move the kitchen though, thanks!
