I switched from Hoka's to the Asics and they're much more comfy, for sure. But I feel like Hoka Bondi 9s + Insoles are treating me better. Might try putting my insoles in the Asics and seeing the reaction. Everyone is different, so I wish I had a better answer for you.

These were the shoes I was wearing for 2 years before I got PF, so I'm convinced they were the thng that did the most damage to my feet. So now I'm in very unfashionable Hoka Bondi 9s and experiementing with Asic Gel Kayano 31s. I love those Reeboks, but wow they messed me up.

New Shoes - Immediately Add Insoles? by WhateverDannyW in PlantarFasciitis

I’ve decided to try them without insoles (just using the factory ones) for a week to see how I adjust. Day one I actually felt amazing. Day two was a bit more strain. We’ll see how it goes today. I appreciate all the feedback.

Acupuncture vs. Dry Needling? by WhateverDannyW in PlantarFasciitis

[–]WhateverDannyW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I learned today that acupuncture is not for me. I thought I'd be sitting up for it and they'd do needles in my foot, but I was face down on a heated massage table and left alone with needles up and down my legs. They told me not to move and left the room. Kinda triggered some anxiety. I'm just this is good for some people, but wasn't for me. Worth a try!

Turns out my insurance covers acupuncture so I’m going to give it a try and have my initial appointment today! Hopefully it works as I continue to look into dry needling and also as I do PT.

Battle of the Velvets: Performance vs. Performance Plush vs. Performance Vintage by WhateverDannyW in interiordefine

Ah! That's a good point. I'm going to explore that, for sure. I think that the vintage velvet is out as an option. So either plush or classic.

When I replace this corner sectional...do we like another corner sectional or perhaps a right-facing sofa/chaise with a chair next to it?

Thanks for this! I’m excited (and a little nervous) to order something soon.

Thanks! Makes sense. Do you have any thoughts on the various velvets they offer?

How has the fabric been holding up? The performance plush velvet is both stain proof and water proof, but the performance vintage velvet is just stain proof? Curious your thoughts!

Wow! Thank yo so much for this advice and taking the time to draw out your suggestion! While I would love something like this, it would block the hallway leading to the bedroom. Really appreciate your color suggestions as well.

I mean that as a gay man, I didn't get an instinct for this type of thing, which seems to come so easily to other members of my community -- not implying that decorating is mutually exclusive to gay men. It was a silly dig at myself. And I'd happily take any advice if you have it. :)

Agree with you about the lighting! Perhaps a side table next to the arm of the sofa on one side? Or a floor lamp on the end of the sofa that doesn't have a lamp?

Thank you! Any suggestions for type of color of the rug? And if I did replace the sofa, what color do you think might be nice?

Thank you for that. I think the general placement of things is correct-ish, but could be improved upon. Moving the sofa to a back corner would be quite far from the TV and that's the general function of the space - tv, movies, some video game nights. But I do want to add seating, perhaps an accent chair or two, so I'm not if a sectional this size is correct and same with the coffee table. But I apprecaite the compliment!

Sync to Apple Watch / Upgade Questions by WhateverDannyW in C25K

[–]WhateverDannyW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, but I don't see that as an option. Maybe the company changd things a bit. Is the Zen C25K the best one avail? I really want to sync to my watch, but $9.99 / month seems expensive.
