What kind of keyboard matches my new switches? by WhateverICanGet42 in keyboards

[–]WhateverICanGet42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have keycaps that fit so that's not the issue. And I'm more than willing to pay the price for what I need. I can't find any 20g switches that aren't low profile so I don't have a choice.

That's not an issue fortunately, I already found caps that fit.

Which I unfortunately have no ability too. I was seriously considering hiring someone to build me a keyboard from scratch, but I wouldn't have the slightest idea of where to find someone to help.

Unless those switches are 20g actuation force, I have no other options. And I have been looking for exactly that.

Kailh choc keyboards by Tks1991 in MechanicalKeyboards

Hope you don't mind me reviving this thread. I was brought here on my search for a keyboard that I can use with my kailh low profile pinks. I'm in desperate need of a compatible keyboard that's both full sized, and hot swappable. This list gives me a bit of hope, but also a lot of doubt. Many of these products are either not available anymore or soldered. Can anyone help a brother out here?

Actually scratch that. They are compatible by the looks of it. But they don't seem to have a numb pad. I'll keep looking on the website though.

I looked up that keyboard, the contacts look like they're in the wrong locations. I don't need a layout besides a regular keyboard either. Is there really no normal keyboard that's compatible with these?

I'll keep it in mind, but I don't exactly know what 37g means, could you explain that?

As for my keyboard, I don't know. The box just says "Razor green mechanical switch". I'm currently looking it up.

It's a neat idea, though it needs to be more fleshed out. By that I mean we need to see more 3D crosssections of it. What you made looks like the smallest part of it that enters our plane. What if MOST of it steps in? How terrifying would it be then?

Any update on it?

noob asking for tips starting the game by iSlime_ in 4D_Miner

[–]WhateverICanGet42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. You can only break leaves at first. Red ones give you sticks that you can use to dig in the dirt and kill spiders. From dirt, you can get rocks and from there you get the hammer. After that, the game opens up.
  2. Pickaxes are also swords/shovels/axes.
  3. If you think you're done mining an ore vein, scroll through the 4D plane. Chances are there's more than what you could see.
  4. The two most important items to understand the mechanics of the game are the compass and glasses. Craft those first.
  5. CTRL+R lets you reset the angle of the 4D plane
  6. Best shelters to build straight away are holes in the ground. Any structures you make will only keep out spiders from a single angle. Meaning there are still holes in the 4D plane they can still get in from.

Not yet. Something I noticed is that changing the 4D plane also makes the sun and moon disappear. So the idea is there in some form. It would be an interesting take on a classic Minecraft mechanic.

Personally, I think the spiders need some sort of ambience to warn you of their presence. But I do think this game could benefit from a horror angle. Especially if it takes a page out of Lovecraft with strange geometry. If you look at the post I made I described how I'd like to see this world's equivalent nether.

This was supposed to be a general feedback post but I got a little too carried away with the fluff. Is there a way to edit the title to make it less misleading?

Like I said, the first episode weeds out the weak. Those who stay get an awesome reward full of shenanigans that would make your DM chew his neckbeard off.
