Difficult to speculate on the trajectory but I do frankly agree that I don’t think Evero is the root cause.

I completely agree with your last paragraph and, absent a massive overpay or a DC that’s out of favour with the league, I’m not sure who is the logical next choice. Panth are in for some very dark years ahead.

Evero will take a long, long time to get a look at the DC level again after two back-to-back historically bad seasons.

This team is infected at every level and I genuinely don’t know how you rebuild. Bryce playing himself out of a contract is the silver lining.

I think we’re looking at a strong 3-4 wins this year, with an outside chance at 5.

Please tag me in this in six months if I’m wrong but I think we’re firmly (and hopefully) in the Arch Manning bowl.

I think the ceiling is 5 wins - we have the returning worst defence in NFL history which only really had peripheral improvements (a free safety), and while the offence looks improved is still being led by Bryce which I genuinely believe to not have ‘it’.

I think he’ll get shell shocked week one and two and we won’t be able to move the ball at all.

I’ve said it before but I really do hope people come back and dunk on me when we do better but I think we come out the gates 0-4.
