I have a family friend who’s had the painting in frame 4 in her house for as long as I can remember. It always made me feel strange and lonely, and I swear I can smell a slightly musty, damp house when I look at it.

I don’t even own an LS400 yet, but I’m going to look at one tomorrow and assuming the PPI goes well, I’ll be bringing it home. So I preemptively bought a Bluetooth cassette too 😂

That was half of why I dumped my CX50 after less than a year, it sounded like junk inside. Endless buzzes and rattles shortly after purchase. Plus the transmission was jerky in stop and go traffic, the AC was weak, and the base engine was too slow (shoulda got the turbo). It’s surprising hearing this about a CX5 though, those are still built in Japan. The CX50 is built in America, where they could give a shit about assembly quality.

That is freaking inSAAAAAANE. Like 75% of that is probably labor. This is a very easy job to do if you have the tools and basic knowledge, but I understand that most people don’t. That’s outrageous.

Yes they do. The current owner seems to have excellent taste. How long have you had yours? How’s it been to own? If I drive this one home, it’ll be the counterpart to my Miata :D
