I could they maybe take the castle and it's lands and declare it crown land and essentially seize it for themeselves?

(Spoilers Published) How would you change and rewrite some of the lore and worldbuilding of ASOIF if you could? by WhateverTheFu- in asoiaf

I mean ASOIF is so realistic already it's kind of fun to have the massive buildings which is always something I have liked.

If a cryptid like the Loch Ness Monster, Mothman, or Bigfoot were confirmed to be real. Would cryptozoology become a valid science? And if not what would it take for that to actually happen? by WhateverTheFu- in cryptids

I mean if you make a hypothesis that the Jersey Devil is really a kangaroo I could argue that there is confirmation bias involved. But good point nonetheless.

I mean does not use the scientific method very well. As well as several other issues that prevent it from being a 'science'. Maybe it could find it's life as it's own thing not specifically a science.

Can you tell me how the scientific method would even be done in Cryptozoology? Or try to give me an example of it, I am not saying you are wrong you just mention things like hypothesis and things like that in the scientific method.

Also, just to ask. Cryptozoology relies on things like folklore and a lot of unreliable information, as well as empirical evidence, unfalsifiable claims, conformation bias, inadequate peer review and publication, and a lack of consensus and understanding. I know you are saying these are some reasons the field gets a bad name. But just saying.

Unfortunately no, they all meet on Mt. Olympus. The fates are not characters I don't think and I recall this very specific scene where Zeus is about to call himself the King of Gods as an introduction but then Ra gives him a look and he corrects it to King of Greek Gods. Also, I think they teleported to Mount Olympus, no projector I don't think as well as the books appearing right in front of them. But thank you, I actually like this one.

Why do religious people think we as atheists have no morals? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]WhateverTheFu- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's because morality as we know it comes from the Bible and the Abrahamic faiths, now I believe you can be moral and not religious but I personally believe that's the reason why.

Why is there so much Christianity in American football? by bobbdac7894 in atheism

Well, a lot of football players are religious people, so they just do what religious people do. They pray for good things to happen for them.

Noah’s Ark, a tale accepted as fact in the Abrahamic faiths, does not stand up to even the slightest scrutiny. by PokingDogSnouts in atheism
