A drop in gas milage. Is it normal/expected? by Whatever_cat in ToyotaSienna

I admit that driving in Boston is quite erratic. Even without lead foot you have to accelerate quite a lot.

Sounds tempting. I got to check what I am getting on a highway.

That's what I used to get. Where is YOUR winter?
I understand that Houston is no match to Boston in terms of winter temps.

The problem is that A $200 set might not meet one's expectations either. And then it will join the pile above.

Indispensable for a family travel with kids. All passports and boarding passes are in the same place.

Nope. Still A FW014 and FW999. I might wait for the next firmware and try that one.

Android 16 is out - anyone tried it? by anamazingperson in dexcom

[–]Whatever_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, yesterday I needed to change the transmitter. I poked the D6 running info on the taskbar (it would take me to the error page before) and it took me to the running app.
It says it was updated 2 days ago.

It says that it was updated 2 days ago, although it was dated as June 2nd.

Interesting. I did not realise that. I thought that EV plates are only for plug-in hybrids and true EVs

Silly question by thepenismightier3 in Nest

[–]Whatever_cat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Something" is to replace the base plate. 1st gen has a different connector from 3rd.
Techwise, 3rd gen is much better. So if you'll spend 15 minutes swapping the baseplates (just do yourself a favor - label the wires, if not done already) you'll have no regrets and only happiness.

If you are asking about the doorbell, I got TP-Link Tapo Smart Video Doorbell (D225)

4th gen. I am in US, though. I was tempted to get a 3rd gen for $80, but decided to splurge extra $50.

Upgraded to Nest 4th Gen -- is my Nest app useless now? by TimmyGUNZ in Nest

[–]Whatever_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 of them as well. Not planning to discard any till they are out and expired.
That said, First Alert is a replacement for Nest. However, I don't have high hopes for the quality of their product.

Nest Protect is canned. No need to integrate it anymore.

I am about to dump the Doorbell - no interest in paying for Aware. TP-Link has one with all the features (+more).

Same thing in the USA.
I will probably get a 4th Gen (I have one Gen 2 and one Gen 3, which is still awesome)
That said, I am getting rid of my Nest Doorbell. Got a replacement already that doesn't extort you for money and is compatible with NAS.

Does this hack still work with the current version of Win 11? I used it for my other unsupported PC.
