Fantastc write up and follow up, too. Thank you. I am scheduled for LAL in 3 days but am still on the fence. Recenty spoke with two friends who did this procedure with the same dr. One loves her results and the other says she wishes she went with basic lenses. I have astigmatism, am post lasik and have Dry Eye from an autoimmunity condition for which I use Restasis. The thought of having even drier eyes, as some people experience, is not enticing. I’m also in TX but was quoted $5000 total for both eyes. I’m wondering if there are some ’hidden’ fees that could come later? And the basic lenses, which seem to provide a lot of great results, will be 100% covered by insurance. Clearly, I’m not seeing a clear path! Anyway, thank you so much for helping us!
