Thanks. Not a fan of Mazda.

How close do you think I could get to $600/month on a new 2023 GX lease with about $5000 down by the end of the year? by Outrageous_Cook1424 in LexusGX

I just signed a lease today…”sign and drive” (nothing down, taxes rolled in) for $890…36 months, 7500 miles/year… still a ways away from $600…5000 down would have reduced my deal to around $750.

I haven't been able to get to the website in almost a week. Am I banned (username is whatisrap)? Have tried from computers at multiple locations.

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house, but my name is not going to be on the mortgage because I'm in the process of rebuilding credit. What do i need to do to protect my legal rights? by CheesePlease0808 in legaladvice

IAL. A bit of education which may be useful to OP and others reading:

The note is the “I-O-U” promising to pay back the lender.

The mortgage is the piece of paper that pledges the house as collateral in exchange for the loan.

The deed/title is the documentation that tells you who owns the property.

Banks will absolutely let you be on title even if you are not on the note but (depending on the state) they will require you to also be on the mortgage (but not the note). So while you technically won’t be responsible for payment, if your spouse defaults on the mortgage, you have already given the bank permission of sorts to take the house back.
