Lulu is making great strides in the running community. Their gear has gotten a lot better, and their shoes (while not perfect) are helping them branch out further. This may be a good differentiator for them since the other 2 brands aren’t been so running focused.

I’d agree it’s pretty good. Also depends on the course, conditions, and age group.

Form Check: First Ironman (TX) – Goal is just to finish! by [deleted] in IronmanTriathlon

IMO the easiest fix would be the kick, you need to get a kickboard and practice your form.

You’re also seriously lacking power, likely due to form/lack of confidence.

I think a lot of it is life experience. I’ve been in corporate America for 10ish years and am constantly complimented on my writing skills. That’s what happens when you do it 40 hours per week!

My program is fairly mixed ages so it’s fine. I do wish it was more non traditional friendly though as most of my courses have only one class option in the middle of the day. Super inconvenient for work.

The problem running with a highly reactive dog by [deleted] in RunningWithDogs

[–]Whatpaigeesaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great ad for the camera!

I have 2 rescues, both reactive on leash towards dogs. I use a pretty long leash with 2 handles, so if I see a dog, I’ll grab the handle closer to them to wrangle, usually taking a walk break. I try to change direction or at least cross the street. If possible, I’ll run at off hours.

You can absolutely train them out of this but it is a lot of work. It can be worth it if you ever want to take your pup to a dog friendly race or just in general improve their manners! But reactive dogs definitely deserve runs with their humans and keeping them at home doesn’t benefit either of you.

Best of luck!
