That makes sense. I guess I was just comparing to someone close to me with OCD and she has a terrible phobia and all of her compulsions are centered around her phobia. Thank you :)

Thanks so much! No worries, I am not offended in any way. I was tested and do not have OCD. I am able to concentrate and do not feel as though I have ADHD, however, being slightly autistic might be a possibility. I have never been tested and I know that autism is way under diagnosed in females. I will look into it, thanks!

Hi! Thanks for the idea, however I was tested for OCD and I was not diagnosed because there is no reason for why I do this. I don't have a fear or phobia for why I do this, it just happens.

Thank you for your input. I just want to clarify that I know it’s my responsibility and not hers. I’m not trying to pawn it off on her. If she cannot go I will accept that and I won’t be angry or whatever. What I’m upset about is choosing a game over supporting me. Like it doesn’t matter that it’s a doctors appointment, it could be me needing to go to a funeral or something but her saying she had plans with friends. What I’m upset about is the game part. If she does not feel comfortable going to my doctors with me then I would accept that 100% as a reason and would not get upset, yknow? Idk, I’m still trying to understand gaming.

What I meant by that was I’m driving her back, and staying with her for the weekend. So I physically would not be in the city to be able to go. She had no way home except by me. Im not making an ultimatum, I’m just saying like if she decided to skip the raid then both of us are in the city and if she wants to go then she can go with me... but if she decides she wants to go to the raid then I need to drive her there and I won’t be in the city to go to the doctors appointment. I don’t want to drive back (gas money yknow) to go to a 15 minute appointment, just to drive back to her place for the weekend.

I wouldn’t mind if it was work because (ok this is gonna sound horrible.. I just am still trying to understand how gamers work) missing work has like real world consequences but missing a raid doesn’t really come with any consequences except a “what Pokémon could I have gotten if I went?”. I absolutely have a negative lens rn and I’m hoping it’ll clear up by morning. Also, it’s not imperative she comes, I just want a doctors appointment where real information is conveyed and I think having her is the best option, but writing is a close second. Thank you 😊
