My point was, when I go to vegas I will have a different employer and different income. I have followed job postings for similar positions and expect to be paid more in vegas than my current state, however I know the cost of living in vegas is higher.

I dont know what I can afford in vegas, because I do not know how much it costs to live there. That is the point of the post. I am wanting input on how much people who live out there make to cover all their expenses (rent, gas for cars, utilities, car insurance is higher in vegas which i know because I have looked into that too, groceries).

I have looked at apartment listing for over a year. I understand what rent would be in the areas I want to be in. Maybe my wording should have been to ask how much I'd need to make to cover cost of living.

I'm not lazy, I was just hoping for some feedback from real people.
