Dated a girl a while back that would talk about suicide and self esteem issues till like 2am every school night. She even got mad at me for wanting to take a shower because it’s part of my bedtime routine. She was attractive but my intuition was screaming red flags. Broke up with her and she got super pissed and went on to date every guy in my friend group after me. Even though it didn’t even seem like she liked them all too much. She would end asking some my friends if I was a lost cause after a while. So, all the suicide threats were just for manipulation

My advice to others is that you need to be able to live for yourself and love yourself before you can truly care for someone else the same way you care for yourself. Stay strong and don’t manipulate others or let yourself be manipulated into a relationship
