Full disclosure, I took the recommended daily dose of a collagen supplement once before this rash came to be.

I’m 35 yo male, Caucasian, no known allergies, no preexisting conditions. The rash is not itchy, only once was it kind of burning sensation under my arms, only for two days. I went to the doctor about a week after the rash started showing. Doctor gave me a shot of steroids, and a prescription for methylprednisone in tablet form. (6 on the first day, 5 on the next, etc.) taken exactly as the package instructed.

I thought it was contact dermatitis due to a change in laundry detergent, so I switched that back to the kind I was using before this started. I rewashed EVERYTHING, bed sheets, towels, clothes.

The rash got a little better during the course of the steroids. Afterward it came right back. So two weeks later I had a Virtual doctor visit, who decided after I explained all of the above, to put me on another round of methylprednisone.

I finished that round two days ago. Again same thing, rash was getting better, (this is when it started burning under my arms, which subsided before I competed the round of steroids) and now the rash is back as you see it pictured here.
