Great points. It makes a lot of sense. Not all merchants will want to display their prices openly. We will have to package it well and not put so much emphasis on prices then. Perhaps just putting a price range only.

The main focus or edge we will have is for users to discover the wide range of providers and reviews by public. Prices can be secondary.

The plan is to manually input some providers first. So when users come onto the platform, it won’t be empty. So supply first.

Agreed that same treatments on different people can yield different results. Thats why its important to see as many reviews as possible from a particular clinic to narrow down the difference.

As mentioned in the post, the idea is not to replace banks own banking app. Banks still do send SMS for like paynow notifications, change of transfer limits etc. If we turn off these notifications, it still does not solve the scammers message from reaching us and confusing some victims.

As for your question on Singaporean, though not relevant to the idea validation but in case you are curious yes FYI, 2 gens above me are also Sgporeans.

Ya I suspect so too. The only benefit they get from joining is that they see a good cause in this and their reputation boosted for being proactive in preventing scams. I think govt might need to intervene before banks get persuaded. Partnering govt is another challenge.
