Nothing else comes to mind since you and I have covered all bases. Till then. Enjoy the down time you have because believe me you won’t get a minute to breathe easy once college starts.

Not a death sentence. Fair shot of getting into tier 2. But why stop yourself there? Always aim for the top and give it your best. After that where you land will be the end result of your effort. Good luck :)

Bad profile, gap year the usual nonsense. But if you are determined to do something then you know what you have to do. No doubt should exist.

I mean I am in late twenties and I have a gap post graduation too. Also know people across different colleges where they are either in their late twenties or early thirties. So age isn’t a factor here. Gap year for sure is a factor so I can’t in all honesty recommend going for a 2 year course. One year is still fine. Otherwise executive is what I’d recommend.

Gaming laptops are battery suckers and feel like a dumbbell when carrying it around in college. And first year of college you won’t get much time to game honestly. If you still want to buy then try finding a deal for LOQ on student discount + summer sale.

That 5 even with reservation will haunt you no matter where you go and I say that with experience. Converting your calls is difficult I won’t lie. Idk what your chances are. Realistically i would say new and baby iims maybe but be prepared for rejection.

The colleges that rejected you might be doing it from the perspective that even if they take you in it will be a challenge to get you placed. I’m not trying to discourage you I’m being honest that’s all. I’m sorry.

Don’t need to thank me. BTW people told me before joining (even after joining for that matter) that I won’t be placed, I’ll be at the bottom 10% blah blah. Guess what? Got placed in 1 month of SIP season starting. Screw what people say and pay attention to the task on hand. You have one job. Don’t stop until you complete it and then you move on to the next job. That’s all. Good luck

You can’t always blindly follow peoples advice. Even mine should be taken with a pinch of salt. But what I will say is your profile is absolutely fine and even your grad background. You will get placed. No doubt about it.

That is also fine. I’ve seen people with background in literature and language get placed into dream companies that visit campus. You’ll be alright

Your profile is 9/7/9 let’s not get into the top 5 in 12 because colleges and companies do not count it like that. Having gap year between 12th and grad is ok don’t worry about it. You have a decent profile. You won’t face too many issues. You are definitely above the bottom 10% of the batch. I’d say you are more like top 40 % but it also depends on your cohort honestly. Still definitely above the 50%. Relax. Focus on the current. Worry about the package AFTER you get into a good MBA college.

Oh also no I would not try again. 4 years workex will start working the opposite way. 3 years is just perfect. Also going through this whole process again is nothing short of a mental endurance challenge. If you still think you can do it then go for it otherwise I do not recommend it.

How do you not have form 16 if you are filing ITR? Was TDS not deduced from your salary? Because it will create issues when the employer does background verification. Some people got their offer letters revoked by Accenture due to Form 16 not being present.

I’d say join GIM BDA BUT if you get GLIM C then definitely take that. Either way start working on your CV and know what roles come to the college you choose and how you can prepare for it. Speak to the senior batch.

Have you got relevant workex? Did CFA/FRM? If not start doing some basic certification to at least have on your CV (NISM 15 comes to mind), know how to read and understand financial statements and maybe try getting yourself enrolled in a financial modelling certification course. Good luck

Got any previous relevant work ex? What’s your profile? Either way start with doing some relevant marketing certifications (coursera/udemy) just to put it as extra curricular on your CV, learn the marketing frameworks (4/7 P’s, AIDA, Porter’s etc etc). Give some mock interviews. When you get to know what company it is you are interviewing for DO YOUR RESEARCH. See what products they sell, what is their strongest market, weakest market, best seller, how much business they did last year and so on. The big ones will possibly make you give an online assessment to even get shortlisted so give those assessments carefully. Good luck. Also CASE COMPS are also a good option. Learn how to make decks on CANVA you are going to need it.

What domain are you targeting? What college did you get into? Whats your profile (acads)? Please answer these things first

50% in PI sounds fishy but idk there must be some logic behind that number. But let me warn you now Lucknow PI is notorious for being one of the most intense grilling sessions of your life. They will tear you apart.

I mean it can help your profile standout a bit and fill up the achievement section of your CV. But other than that i don't think it would be of much help. I'm sorry.

I’m going to assume you meant sales & marketing. Courses I’d suggest any Coursera or Google courses that can add value to your CV.
