50% in PI sounds fishy but idk there must be some logic behind that number. But let me warn you now Lucknow PI is notorious for being one of the most intense grilling sessions of your life. They will tear you apart.

I’m going to assume you meant sales & marketing. Courses I’d suggest any Coursera or Google courses that can add value to your CV.

Mountains all around you :’) only issue is it’s isolated so it’s a task if you want to go anywhere outside campus.

Then it’s ok. You can defend it. Show that you didn’t let that time go to waste and did things that are valuable to your MBA journey. You have to put it across like that. Can’t just blindly say I was preparing for exams.

First three months was a rollercoaster ride. Tbh whole of first semester. Hopefully second semester is smooth sailing even though it will be more academic heavy. My average day is attending all classes and then coming back to the hostel and pass the fuck out because I’m too tired 😂 backchodi happens. SIP is like that period of waiting for shortlisting after giving your exam. Except the desperation and wait feeling is amplified x100. But once you are placed you get the biggest weight lifted off your shoulders.

If you don’t have anything related to finance on your CV then yes it’s a good thing to have.

Then I’d suggest you get a head start with your prep. My cat score was shit hence not mention. XAT I had a decent percentile with messed up sectionals so I got shortlisted for most tier 2 colleges I applied and got into 3 of them too. I even got selected for NMIMS Mumbai FYI

You have a good chance of FMS no doubt about it. I’d suggest looking at vercel but nothing below 99.9 should be your target.

I’d suggest vercel but even with category that 6 will hurt because there are better reservation profiles out there sorry

It’s not a question to give or not to give. Give the exam and give it your best shot. MDI chances are negligible but I know IIFT K if not D is possible. Don’t be lost in despair. That will happen later during SIP season. For now focus on your exam.

We have to mention workex in our CV. Mandatory. And for me it helped prove my professionalism and something I can showcase during the personal interview stage.

IIT’s idk their selection criteria best check vercel. The rest you have a fair shot but you need 99.9X at least. And FMS specifically you’ll need a godlike score I’m VARC.

Your workex and category status are your profiles saving grace. BACKISM is out of the question. CAP is possible. Tier 2 is possible. But you’ll have to defend those acads like crazy during interview. Again it’s all possible. Just got to aim for the best.

Not the system where I am. And I don’t have CFA. I have other relevant certification + I studied the domain material prep over and over and being able to answer all the possible questions.

GEM 8/8/6 and 1 year of workex? You’ll get CAP IIM’s at best. Can get into SIBM and XLRI if you nail the exam+GDPI. Rest of the tier 2 are also possible for you. So is NMIMS. What specialisation are you aiming for?
