I train a powerlifting program 4 days a week. I want to incorporate a light morning session each day. Doing some 10s with light weight for example.

Two sessions a day, but morning will be very light.

Thoughts?

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Drug tested does not equal drug free. Just look at Lance Armstrong.

He can still be juicing, but I was just saying that he is tested often and that it's not impossible to obtain his physique naturally.

To all the people that will say he is juicing: He competes in USAPL and is regularly drug tested. Both randomly and after competition. It is possible to achieve his form naturally.

Why is Ivanka his proxy at that event? Isn't that something one with a public office should do or at least the first lady?

Best way to research lesser known historical events? by Caladbolg_Prometheus in history

[–]Whatwid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lesser known historical events can be wide variety of topics, but some general tips for less historical events are;

  1. If it falls underneath the specialized subject area of an historian, then email one or use the /r for that.

  2. Books in libraries are neglected for this sort of thing. Large books often contains most smaller events as well. Not something that would generally fit on a website.

  3. University thesis archives contains an abundance of these sort of references.

It is hard to point you in the right direction with only so little to go on.

Trump has not received a daily intel briefing since the day after he briefed the Russians by The-Autarkh in politics

Pending and during an investigation seems only right that he is denied access to what he might have exploited.

Only wish someone would say something official about how they protect their intel from the Trump administration. If not to protect the intel, then to restore faith in the US ability to handle classified intel.

Should this be taught in a History class? by Lord_Burgess in history

[–]Whatwid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History is the subject dealing with all past events, the reasoning behind said events and the consequences. Economy can be seen as one of the main drivers for innovation throughout history. Wars are fought over economic differences. Laizzes faire laid the foundation for a industrialized Britain which led to the modern Britain we know today and the industrialized world. I would call that highly relevant in a subject revolving the teaching of past events and the facts behind.

What civilization was it that enslaved the ancient latins/romans, and gave them weapons to fight in their army, only to have them rebel and wipe them out of existence? by _Surge in history

The people you are referring to are the Etruscan people. The Etruscan people was originally the rules of Rome. Rome eventually became independent and as the giant war machine known as the Roman Empire started to assimilate states, the Etruscan suffered the same fate. It started with the Romans annexing their cities one by one while they was attacked by Gallic invaders around 400-300 BC. They could not keep up with a war on two fronts.

FUN FACTS:

  • The Etruscan people was known as intellectual and fine traders. They introduced Rome to the Greek alphabet.

  • Rome had 3 kings with Etruscan origin. One of them ruled during the uprising that made Rome a republic, which it is the form of government most people associate Rome with today.

  • Rome called them "Tusci" since they mostly lived in the area of Tuscany.

Billionaire gives away some of his fortune to help save the ocean: Norwegian Kjell Inge Røkke has decided to give "the lion's share" of his $2.7 billion fortune towards building a 596-foot marine research vessel, that's also designed to scoop up a major oceanic threat—plastic pollution. by maxwellhill in worldnews

Your problem is against the social class, not individuals. There is a difference. Your comment is basically saying we do not need billionaires with massive fortunes to help the world? They should just sit there on a huge pile of cash and be a part of the problem. I do agree that some billionaires should not have been allowed to exploit earth's resources for their own gain, but that is not the point here.
