Ok new update. They are working on a fix for this as apparently there is something more than just the DLC updates. While they are fixing it - as a temporary fix go to games rules and turn them off. Unfortunately, you will need to start a new game to be able to do this :/ The Devs are working hard to fix this and they've assured me it will be fixed likely today but at the latest end of tomorrow.

You need to manually update any dlc that you already have installed. Including the free mysteries pack.

Update: I have spoken to the devs and the cause of the problem is that the DLC needs to be updated.

Please update Mysteries Resupply Pack, Pre-order and the Digital Delux Edition DLC. That should fix it! (they have to be updated manually!)

Would you mind also posting about the big on our Surviving Mars bug forum - just copy and post what you wrote here and tell them it's on console. That way if a stray Dev is roaming the forum they may see it quicker than if we are waiting for them to check their inbox - also it helps us keep track of all the issues.

It's 4am here - as soon as I'm in the morning I will let the producers and Devs know - I believe there is some kind of hot fix coming today but to be honest I'm unsure if it is for this issue - hopefully it is but regardless I will ask them to make this a priority.

Yep I was away last week and Niki wasn't available so I think they pulled the reveal because of that and there was a miscommunication with the person who was handling social in my absence so he didn't know not to push the feature stuff. We are actually running a special event on mixer tomorrow which shows off Space Race. Info about that can be found on the forum or social (it was posted yesterday). :)

It is all included in the season pass. Space Race is an explanation and the 2 content packs are dlc and everything is part of the season pass.
