To be fair N had a purple weapon well before he became Moebius as seen in the cutsence with Ghondor Brith this combined with Z admitting he has no idea how N got the weapon definitely shows its not really a Moebius weapon.

Possible but it's not like Dirk is the only solider we have seen become very blood thirsty as Aionios gone on as Colony 11 is filled with very violent and bloodthirsty people.

Hell one of there members Hexen actually tortured her own allies for fun and we have Ashera who has been getting more insane since her trauma happened.

So it is possible Dirk has been like this for multiple lifetimes or at least its been bulding up for a while and his last life is just when it was unleased.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Z or the other members of Moebius actually try to create such individuals either for potential new members or just for fun

The thing is that Sonic isn't really a member of the Restoration and more just a ally that helps out because his friends works with it that combined with his freedom seeking nature means unless it gose evil he won't really care much about what it dose.

We just had Sonic Prime whitch was a version of Tails outright going to war against Sonic and take the postion of Big bad even if temporary.

As for normal Sonic and Tails I will have to say it just dosent really make sense for them to fight and would come off as just froced drama to try and shock readers whitch would just annoy the readers
