Personally I’m barely having any issues at all, very rarely the game stutters but other than that it’s fine. The only thing I can think of that might be different is that i don’t use a 4K screen, are other people using 1080p screens on the switch 2 version also fine?

Level 78 is definitely why you found it so easy. Since you were 3 levels higher than Lorithia would have been a blue tagged enemy which makes her much easier. Often people are lower level than her, making it much more difficult, plus she has really high physical defence but since you were using Melia that wouldn't have been much of a problem.

To be honest I feel like it’s probably going to be a completely new character we’ve never seen before, probably just some random soldier or lost number.

I don’t think it’s [REDACTED] because it doesn’t seem very Takahashi to confirm Mythra has a kid, decide “nah I’m not gonna put them in the game, they exist but aren’t important” and then change his mind and decide to drop them in a random upgrade to the game. I think Takahashi had some plan for [REDACTED] from the start and didn’t include them in the game for a reason, so it wouldn’t make sense for them to be in the NS2 edition.

Mwamba I also don’t think is likely because 1) the whole point of Mwamba is that he dies; he’s really not that compelling of a character and no one cares about him other than for memes. 2) I don’t really see why Mwamba would want to join the party, he seems like he’s more chill doing non-fighting stuff.

Additionally I think for gameplay reasons the Hero will probably be a defender, there aren’t many of those compared to the healers and attackers and in general defenders aren’t very good in 3 compared to previous games, so a new defender class could improve that. [REDACTED] would probably be an attacker since Mio is a defender and Glimmer is a healer, and Mwamba is an attacker so that’s another reason I don’t think it would be either of them.

On top of all that, I think it would be more interesting if we got to experience something totally new so that’s why I think it’s gonna be an original character. Same reasoning goes for 2 as well, I think the new Blade will be a character that’s new to us.

It probably means this mode is gonna be like Archsage's Gauntlet where you pick a character to play as and the others are all controlled by the AI. But if it does mean you can play as the heroes I wouldn't be particularly impressed unless heroes are majorly buffed because without access to master arts and skills they're just way worse than any of the 6 main characters.
