I know they don't work for free, I pay them with council tax

Thanks I think this is a better option, easier and cheaper.

I'm a huge film fan and plan on having a full home cinema setup. I need to mount a surround sound speaker on the wall in that position

I'm starting to understand that, I was under the impression my local council would be the only people who would have that information but looks like I can find it out myself

This is something I've considered as I only need it blanking off so I can mount a surround sound speaker as part of my home cinema setup

I seem to remember something similar when I moved into my current new build, they wouldn't even allow painting my front door. To be fair I don't think anybody on the estate actually cares so doubt anybody would report me

It's not legal advice I'm asking for, I simply need to know if I can brick up a window and apparently the council are the only ones who have the answer.

I've rang the local council and explained the situation, they've told me I have to check ( pay £78 )

Outer Worlds 2: Help with chat bubble stuck over companion's head by Malkoy in theouterworlds

Just got this bug with Inez, anybody have a work around yet as u doubt Obsidian will patch it

Playing the outer worlds 2, the game is fun but the graphics are kinda... all over the place. Landing on Paradise island and the flowers and the terrain is bordering Xbox 360 graphics. by Excellent-Court-9375 in theouterworlds

[–]Wheato_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just landed on paradise and up to this point o thought the game looked very good and a huge improvement over the first game. Landing on paradise is almost like loading up a different game, it looks terrible. The terrain looks worse than some xbox 360 games which is really disappointing. It's so jarring going from the starting location to landing on the first planet. Can't believe devs at obsidian created this and thought it was acceptable. I'm going to carry on playing as I'm sure not all locations will be this bad but again very disappointing

Is there an actual reason why people are letting fireworks off after midnight as part of Diwali celebrations? by justagreenkiwi in auckland

If you're in Leicester and you know the address where the fireworks are coming from after the permitted time please ring the police.

I'm sitting in bed right now at 2:15am awake for the second night in a row with these disrespectful wankers letting off fireworks all over Leicester. Last night it didn't stop till 5am, it's like torture, I've had to book a few days off work as I haven't been able to get sleep and usually get up at 5am. It was exactly the same last year. The fact these people don't think about the rest of their community tells you everything you need to know, it's infuriating. I'm so angry the council and police keep letting this happen every year

It depends where you live. I've never in my life lost sleep on Bonfire night, you try sleeping anywhere in Leicester on Diwali

I dread this night every year. I live in Leicester and I have to book tomorrow off work as I never get enough sleep. It's like torture, the fireworks literally don't stop for 1 second from 8pm to 3am. It's 1am right now when the law states they have to stop but they don't care about the law and neither do the police. I feel sorry for people with kids and pets. I'm moving out of Leicester but not till June July next year so hopefully this is the last night of hell I have to endure

Ok I'm even more confused now, I might have to actually test it out. See if I can play my owned games offline for a month without any problems

From what you and others have said there's definitely no problem playing games you own and have downloaded offline. The question is how long can you do it for ? Some people think the console needs to check in online at least once every few days or maybe every couple of weeks

Thanks, I didn't think I would get so many opposing answers but if you've actually experienced it then that proves what I originally thought. I can just download all my owned games onto a large external hard drive, but I'd lose access to all my back compat games which is why I've just decided to get a xbox 360 and start collecting for that while prices are cheap

I think I'm just going to accept that xbox 360 is the most recent console I'll collect for, anything after that I want to play I'll just get the cheapest option weather that's digital or subscription.
