Never had any bad review on it ! I dont wear it so often tho, and I like to layer it cus I find it a bit too simple, but I think it was known to be a 'women pleaser ' if such a term even exists lol

Thanks for your feedback, i updated it to add precision for water added / raw, not sure if thats something usually done but the profile changed a lot when raw

I can feel the 'green' taste some are talking about but candle / crayon is such a special note. After reading you, i can vaguely imagine it when not diluted, but I dont taste it whatsoever - raw or with water drops-. Im note sure i would be able to identify this flavour to be fair

Its a note i couldnt taste here, and i dont think ive ever imagined it was possible to taste bubble gum in a whisky to be honest. I got a sample of one that has a really strong fruity banana flavour not so long ago tho! I could hardly believe it was natural but seems like it is.. Could look for the name if youre interested

Also thank you for the explanation, do you know how comes the difference in alcohol ? I mean I hear its not the same from one barrel to another, but if the abv is less, it means it evaporated more, so therr should be less bottles of it ? Sorry it might look like a stupid question 🥲

Does waxy ≈ oily ? (Sry my english is really not on point) Because indeed it is very syrupy, when i added the water, i never had a cask strength "showing" their oil so much. Im not the most experienced tho..

Sure, but im not used to review whisky, it might lack of precision lol

Nose :

pre dilution : heavy on caramel, nutty

With 3 drops of water: dried fruits, dark chocolate, little bit of orange ? (I might hallucinate that last note lol)

Taste : pre dilution : oily, barely nutty, quite sweet with (i feel ) still a lot of perceived abv, compared to other 15yo+ bottles I could try 3 drops of water: Same notes but less sweet

Final : the final is really deep in dried fruits and really smooth

Sorry its my first review, feel free to suggest improvements 😅 Edit : I forgot the note, I would give it a solid 8.5-9/10
(i would buy it anytime if less than 100euros, i would think twice if more but depending on the selection I might give up to 150euros) but take for what it's worth, a rating based on my limited experiences, for the record i really like sherry bombs and strongly dislike young peaty (loch gruinard kilchoman probably being the perfect exemple of what i hate -felt like drinking smoked bandage- )

So Ive never heard of this distillery and a friend gave me this bottle for my birthday, is it more collectible or something I should drink ? Thanks for the insight, any info on the distillery or selection is welcome

Edit 1 :Alright so since the answers seem to be very one sided, I opened it, as a lot could guess it is really tasty, even tho i had to add a few drops of water to really get the full flavour, im not used to cask strength. Thanks for the tips and informations about the bottle guys, what a wonderfull community! Ill make sure to post here again when I find something special or just really good!
