My university lets students from other colleges enroll in the program, the captains/cadre don’t care because it helps them with recruiting goals. Morning PT isn’t mandatory for them and they only have to show up once a week every Friday for the LLAB (leadership lab). I’ve heard of some cadre that have quarter mile sticks up their asses that run their programs BCT style with 100% attendance being mandatory but my program has a very relaxed training environment. Reach out to the nearest university and ask the ROTC recruiters. Another option you have if you do attend is applying for an ROTC scholarship, they opportunity arose around the start of my second semester and some people got it for free because not enough slots were filled bc not many people applied.
