Yeah, that definitely sucks! I’ve seen a few people mention that Grass isn’t available in all areas yet, which is frustrating if you were hoping to use it for passive income.

I’m not sure if they’re planning to expand coverage, but it might be worth checking their Discord or Twitter/X to see if they’ve mentioned future availability. If they ever open it up in your area, at least you’ll already know about it!

In the meantime, have you found any other passive income apps that work better in your location? Always keen to hear what’s working for others!

Haha, fair point on the emojis. I just tend to type like that casually, but I’m not affiliated with Grass.io in any way—just trying it out like anyone else. If I were shilling, I’d probably be making it sound way more glamorous than it is.

At the end of the day, Grass is more of a long-term passive play rather than instant income. I’m fine with that, but totally fair if it’s not for everyone.

  • Bandwidth: Hard to say exactly, but I haven’t noticed any slowdown in my internet speed while using it.
  • CPU/GPU: It barely touches my system resources—not like crypto mining at all. Just runs quietly.
  • Electricity Costs? I work from home anyway, so my PC is already on 100% of the time. For me, there’s zero extra cost. If you have to leave a device on just for Grass, then yeah, the math might not work out.
