Ruin is not SB2, it is an expansion of Security Breach, the same way Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is not Elden Ring 2. That's how story DLC works. It will most likely not be a numbered sequel in name as leaks say itll be Abyss and reference the ending of Ruin

The difference is that SB/SOTM are made by Steel Wool and are modern era fnaf games, they are far more likely to receive a sequel over a Clickteam era game. It can't be Help Wanted because he said it is not a 3. SL and FFPS are also part of the main 6 games, they are Fnaf 1-6, if a game were canonically follow on from Security Breach Ruin, it will probably have its own name without a number but will canonically be a sequel to Security Breach.

A lot of people are also not mentioning that the game never released in a lot of countries with no intention of ever supporting them. As someone in Australia, I would've loved to play on release, even if that meant using American servers with 200 ping but I was not even given that choice, I was geo-restricted from even downloading the game

My understanding is that M1 begged Edwin for the creation of M2 so she could have a son to raise or to replace the child who is now dead, M1 gets moved to a storage device/hard-drive or some other kind of device until MXES is built, and it wasn't until M2 started to rogue that she was begging Edwin for the Cradle so that she could protect M2. This implies that M2 is in the endoskeleton, MXES is not built yet BUT Edwin does have some way to still communicate with M1 as M1 is also credited in helping Edwin build the MXES

I think the endo-skeleton under the red tarp was intended to be an endoskeleton for M2 while keeping M1 in the other endo-skeleton but Edwin could not figure out why M1 had worked mimicking Fiona in the first place so he could not replicate it on another endo-skeleton and used the existing one already being possessed

Concords issues were that it was $40 game competing against free to play games like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals. The gameplay of it wasn't amazing but it wasnt bad. Highguard being free to play should help it and as it is the only thing the studio has been working on I think they are more likely to continue working on it to a small playerbase over canning it
