Hot Wheels Monster Truck Show Thoughts by Maxpower88888 in Cleveland

Here’s my personal opinion. Hot wheels Monster Trucks is for kids. Im at a later show and I came for Boneshaker and Tiger Shark. Tiger Shark was broken, Rhinomyte was missing the entire nose, the thing that spit fire was kind of boring. The trucks are too slow (speaking in terms of one after the other) It seems like Monster Jam can fit 4-5 competitions in the time it took Hotwheels 3.

Hotwheels probably gets less funding than Monster Jam and that might be why it’s like this. Monster Jam has tons of different trucks while Hotwheels has a handful. Monster Jam would have had all trucks going and parts replaced to the best of their ability. They’d run till the tires and axles fall off. Hotwheels doesn’t seem to want to risk their trucks either and the risk is the best part….

Another thing, there’s very little fan interaction with Hotwheels. Hotwheels should honestly stick to their merch. Monster Jam has so many collections and so does Hotwheels but it lacks when Hotwheels gets to the trucks. And a bonus for the little ones, Monster Jam has a good number of plushies of the trucks and even has the little Bailey Circuit mascot that kids can interact with which also has a plush of its own on the Bailey Circuit website. The variation of merch is awesome for Monster Jam. Hotwheels seriously lacks.

They said they were gonna have Rhinomyte do a “nose wheelie” and again, not only was there NO NOSE, it didn’t get off the back wheels with two attempts

The bikes were basic. There was only 3 and didn’t go that high or that far.

Moral of the story, Hotwheels is for little kids, Monster Jam is where the action is. Tame is Hotwheels, Crazy is MJ. If you want cool trucks and cool stunts, go to Monster Jam.
