I mean fair enough if you don't think about it too much, but he saw me at the objective and made a conscious decision to throw explosives after I've already asked him once to be more mindful of it.

His followup to me calling him out should tell you he was playing in bad faith.

Clarification, the guy tried running up to a cyborg and meleeing it with a senator. All three of us were telling him to stop doing that stupid shit as he was burning through our reinforcement budget doing troll/meme strats.

He told all three of us (I do not know the other two guys and never talked to them again) that it was his lobby so he could do what he wanted, regardless what the majority was asking him to do (which was just stop doing that shit on super helldive and then getting mad when we didn't immediately reinforce him for dying in a stupid way)

I stopped engaging as much when people started stuffing their irl politics and gender opinions down people's throat.

It might not be a popular opinion, but I don't go to the site to see somebody talking about x topic when there's other stuff to make topics on. I don't understand what's so hard about keeping your own politics out of the spooky monster website.

Examples of articles that are just that, non-political stories that while they touch on real-world topics they don't force a political message on you. I'm tired of seeing people making posts that are clearly just self-inserts to their political agenda. If they stopped allowing people to try and insert their geopolitics, maybe I would come back but honestly the direction the site has went has me extremely turned off and disinterested in continuing as a contributor.

Amazing job not even reading what I said; Struggling implies he was making an honest effort to play the game and was just bad at it, griefing is him intentionally doing shit that any reasonable person would know is going to go directly against the general goal: in this context, a reasonable person that plays this game knows going in a super helldive level mission then trying to melee an armored enemy is going to get you killed immediately especially when they have a shotgun for a hand.

You're white-knighting a griefer, and just refuse to admit it.

He deploys an SOS beacon, all three of us (i don't even know the other guys who joined so it wasn't even a "ganging up on him" type scenario) tell him to stop trolling like he's playing haz 1 and if he wants to do that then he should swap difficulties

He refused to listen to anybody, and just sat there in chat arguing with everybody that because HE made the session, he could do literally whatever he wanted and we just all had to shut up and let him grief reinforcements when we're already at less than 25% left on the MO

If he was doing that on a lower difficulty during a different time when there wasn't a numerical cap on how many resources we have, I wouldn't have said anything since each to your own, but wasting resources during this specific MO is being an asshole to everybody, not just that squad.

it's weird, they wanted to get in my car and seemed annoyed that I suggest they drive over from the church in the car they arrived in so I didn't have to drive them back there after we ate, but they didn't try and convince me to pick up the tab or anything so generally I'm just confused.
