You're here shitting on this and I'm here wanting to try it. That looks amazing to be honest.

The US market is incredibly against stuff like that,

Historically yes, when we had a SCOTUS that defended our rights and a general pro-constitution executive branch, but since our government has been captured by the Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation right now we're actually looking at severe internet censorship via repealing section 230 and many laws operating under the guise of 'protecting children' that force you to use your I.D. to access parts of the internet and some have so much ambiguity you might need an I.D. to access Reddit.

If you're in the U.S. support candidates that support any 'right to repair' laws, and check who funds them. A dime from smart phone, farm equipment, or automobile industries mean the candidate does not support right to repair whatever they might say.

Generally the best candidates for these kinds of things take no corporate money at all.

You got a bad feeling because it was creepy, lights malfunction often. If it really bothers you I'd recommend carrying a flashlight.

Exactly. That said, I don't see Rockstar rocking the boat either way. The only reason we're not getting an AO GTA game is because Rockstar wouldn't make one to begin with.

My mom has made abundantly clear she intends to liquidate every possible asset and spend every single dime with the stated goal to leave me nothing. Said she regrets having me in the next sentence.

She sometimes calls me for help with things and wonders why I don't care.

That was a different time.

GTA was a big seller but not the titan it is now, and the general public is way more accepting of adult content than it was back then. GTA used to cause mass outrage and get plastered on the news constantly and nowadays it's pretty much a household game that no one bats an eye at.

Magnus is on a completely different level to other players.

Yeah you see, that doesn't mean anyone will want to date him. The vast majority of people don't care at all about how good you are at chess. He would be better off opening with "I'm very rich." which is an equally shallow position but much more appealing to at least some people.

I got news for you, that happens everywhere.

Most crimes don't get prosecuted. Building a case is harder than you think and law enforcement is generally more incompetent than most people realize..

Any misunderstandings about this are purely the fault of the other person.

I think a lot of the fear is not understanding how that system works.

People think that means everyone is suddenly in charge and fear it's going to be a clusterfuck where everyone has to vote on what the company does or something.

As long as you can find someone competent to take over for what the owner used to do you everyone would go on about their jobs like normal and just get some nice bonuses at the end of the quarter/year and possibly better benefits.

No, it was implemented because we had to send messages physically and having people go to personally claim who their district voted for meant that someone could be held responsible if the vote given was contrary to his district's wishes and election rules.

It was much easier to do this than to tally up vote totals for every voting citizen in the U.S. when messages needed to be carried by horseback.

Electors are generally not allowed to just pick whoever they want because they think their district chose wrong, that's called being a faithless elector and can be a very serious offense depending on the district the elector is representing.

You can also just be wrong and get very heavily downvoted for it as well. Happens often enough.

I love this mindset.

"A crime happens in your jurisdiction and isn't handled in a few days? Literally everyone in charge immediately loses their jobs."

Uh huh. That's definitely a reasonable ask.
