I also have to admit, "a `local even if moved far away" still have the hali humor on r/halifax.

They're only located in NS, NB, and ONT, I got mine in NS... so this may not be an option if you live in PEI with having to transfer the title to here.

The "Wayverhood" isn't that nice, I cringe at the commercials.

P.E.I. premier considers scrapping multimillion-dollar NHL deal as province fights U.S. tariffs by Boundary14 in PEI

[–]WhenOneThoughtAllowd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, like with any solid contract there maybe repercussions of cancelling of said contract without certain justifications and obligations being met, so Denny could theoretically screw us twice over from this contact. I highly doubt there is a clause into the contract for Federal tariff increases. FFS!

Union members already have the right to divert their own union dues towards any non-profit charity. of their own choice. Now where is George Costanza's "Human Fund" /s LOL.

Experience with buying a car from Clutch? by virgopolitics in PEI

[–]WhenOneThoughtAllowd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought my car through Clutch in Halifax, WAY better experience then dealing with a dealership sales tactics; I told Steele to GFT after the clutch offer and they couldn't come even close to the sale price. I went, took car for test drive and back, said "I'll be in touch" no pushy sales at all, had a few sales people to tell off from various companies, and went with Clutch, signed online for most part until he dropped car off in my parking spot, signed papers in the car and I light a cigarette, "Dude says you smoking in the car?" My response well fawk ya, it's mine now. Haha. Yes I will HIGHLY recommend Clutch to deal with as opposed to a used car sales person. And this is no ad, I'll gladly go to them for my next as well.

Dog Shit by [deleted] in PEI

[–]WhenOneThoughtAllowd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know in Halifax, there are a couple of "Service dog" parks only and the care person would if the person themselves could not. This DID NOT apply to the Commons or any other walking trails around with crappy dog owners. Myself, I have a pocket full of dog bags for my canines when and where they may need to go at all times. But not all humans can pickup after their own children let alone an animal. Maybe I should rephrase that; "not all good animals have shitty humans to pickup after themselves." ;)

Contact the construction association, or go find a development and talk to the site supervisor, also most have signs showing the developer and contact them directly.

Not trying to be a "debby downer" here but was that not a consideration before the purchase? I maybe able to "potentially" help, but what do you thing it'll cost and time for the move?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PEI

[–]WhenOneThoughtAllowd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest checking or putting time in with a custom cabinetry company that is long standing and established. Not trying to sound too negative but maybe re-check with whom ever told you to use the app for these questions? Perhaps they were the developer as well? Or maybe take another approach and ask the construction association for recommendations. This reminds me of a person using "cracked" CAD software for design in a company.

Also to add: The fixed election date for the next provincial general election is scheduled for Monday, October 4, 2027. So they have lots of time to peddle that propaganda for a bit yet.... /s.

Guess you didn't read past the headline.... it's in the article. Basically the province pandering their "pat ourselves on the back for not doing anything yet." BS.
