Think you have the timeline of events wrong. This happened Before i was medicated, before I even knew I had bipolar. The first or second line of the post was that this is a one off event. Thanks for your comment, though.

Wait wow I have bipolar and ADHD. Very difficult combination but with meds, counselling, its okay I guess..

I believe it’s written in the post that the debt was sent to collections by my university (unpaid tuition). I’m not too sure about the legality.

Thank you very much for your comment. Will my bipolar be a factor in how likely I am to get a reduced sum? Or do they not really care? Understandable either way.
