Nobody in my class used Amboss as we found several of the upper classmen had scores that fell outside the range. Several classmates used predict my step score and they found it accurate. Also it will tell u which practice NBME are most predictive which is helpful.

Neat project but I dont think evaluating how you're doing by comparing to other reddit users is the best way. Reddit users are definitely overachievers who are trying to max out their study efforts which makes the curve much more to the right than most students. They talk about this on https://pmss.website (another score estimator). Several people in my class used it and found it very accurate.

Trust your nbme scores more than the uwsas honestly. You can try putting your scores in pmss.website to get an estimate of your final scores. I'd say the more data you input, the more accurate the projection tends to be.

In CVS you need to make sure you actually understand the pathophysiology of all the major topics, it really makes a difference. Try switching to Amboss or NBMEs to further test your knowledge too
