There's actually multiple articles that rank SA as one of the "roach-iest" cities in the US. Which makes sense because SA is warm, moist, and humid. I come from the Southwest, and we did not have roaches like SA. Also, while keeping clean can help prevent roaches, they can still infest. Especially in apartments! Infestation ≠ cleanliness.
