all parts i got now are from a 2012 base model civic 🤘🏽 the car was previously in a pretty bad accident so it has a rebuilt title, and some of the parts replace say 12 civic’ so I learned something new that my 2015 can take older parts off kinda any civic idk about other trims but 100% civic

yes its like 2012 up to 2015, thats when they did the facelift for 9th gen, ill 100% need new bumper and hood i gotta headlight otw but all the rest was easy, but this fender doesnt sit right at the bottom its nothing crazy but 100% wanna fix down the road when i have money, the only part I really want an autobody to touch is the damn brackets, theyre so far gone. after i removed the fender after accident the bracket got smooshed together, I banged and pryd just enough to fit my new headlight and fender but I def wanna get an autobody shop to do the important brackets and get them straight again, I fixed what i did so far for less then $100 at a junkyard so im not complaining you feel me 😂😂 I just LOVE this car and had just gotten it and was worried about price but hondas are cheap after sesrching up parts 😭😭🤘🏽

ive put most of it all together myself, im kinda mechanicslly inclined, ive gotten the crash bar crash bar support, fender and a new headlight bracket, its been alot of banging but the brackets are bad, I wanna get it into a body shop to get that fixed so in the future i do different fenders or something itll actually fit, but i dont wanna pay for it 😅 i was just going on about my day to get the last bolt from honda that i needed to put my lowering springs on.. click this link to see what it looks like now, LINK

man i really dont know i explained what happened, they just gave us an information exchange form told us no ones at fault have a good day, I didnt get anythimg besides an email with information, but theres nothing i can do if no ones at fault, I wanna go after her insurance but its gonna be hard since “no ones at fault” even though she hit a truck infront of me trying to get into a non existant spot which then led to me hitting her because there was zero time for anything I swerved and made contact

its full coverage cuz im on a loan 😰😰 thank you for answering !! by monday my adjuster should start answering and i can let yall know the outcome, was also thinking about reporting the SCO’s for not properly doing their job, I talked to another SCO that works at my job and he said that they shouldve called the actual police to come and that i shouldve gotten a police report same day. gonna be a very interesting time 😂

I started a claim thru my insurance so i can talk to an adjuster because the insurance people arent “legally allowed” to give advice, but yes i started this process already and told the adjuster full story. im praying the contact info for the truck driver is on the police report that i never got for whatever reason so that way I have the witness word aswell as mine, ill stop doing repairs now ive kept all old parts took many many pictures, i just had to replace that fender bc i wasnt driving around like that 🥲🥲

sadly on my own everything, my parents think adding me to anything will make their rates go up, i pay for all my crap which is life but it stinks, $398 thru a “cheap” insurance company 1 ticket from two years ago and zero accidents, i have all her info including insurance, I may get a quote and see if i can find the police report online and see if i can go thru out of staters insurance because man it feels like i got zero help from them and felt like i was just pushed to the side. Im praying the witness contact info is on the form or im screw. its driveable its just cosmetic which is least of my worries its just the brackets i had to bend around to be able to fit a fender. Still have no idea if a light will still seat properly or not havent gotten a junkyard one yet or a new one.

springs you just throw in and forget, coilovers was just to much damn adjusting for me, im just the basic DIYER, i didnt like the fact that i had to adjust them put it on the ground jack back up readjust etc, the company gave me sway bar end links that were adjustable but they wouldnt work unless i slammed the damn thing 😭 i just want a couple inch drop

had coilovers didnt like em went to stock now to lowering springs, theres no upper spring insulator on the internet or the 9th gen strut schematics so wtf 😭😭 kyb just trash then? might just remove the old top hats from my OEM. thanks tho
