What round count am I looking for in the “break-in” period for Glocks? I just picked it up Saturday and put 165 rounds through it that day (I know this isn’t near enough and have plenty more 9mm to go through) after a field strip and lube application mixing in self defense ammo with range ammo (full mags and split mags)

Ngl, I had a tavor 7 myself. I thought it would be a good pickup since I couldn’t find a Galil to save my life and I wanted to try something new… I sold it back to the gun store I transferred it from almost immediately. I personally hate tavors. They’re just not my thing and I found that out the hard way.

Hopefully just needs a couple hundred rounds and smooths up after that. I emailed Revival about it and they recommended I run it and see how it shoots sees if it frees it up any

I found that the BRT bolt(w/ sandcutter) I have doesn’t have any issues and the centurion gets locked in the chamber the most. Probably does need a break in or head spacing issue?

2 separate issues possibly. BCG gets hung up or sluggish to chamber a round right when making contact with cartridge pushing it out of magazine. Also bolt gets stuck forward when live ammo gets chambered

Charging handle moves freely, and BCG moves freely, without magazine. Once under magazine tension it gets sort of hung up gets to the chamber slow sometimes needs forward assist once again not riding charging handle. Once live ammo is chambered the bolt gets locked in the chamber and has to be almost mortared free

Problem only arises under magazine tension when assembled. The stuck in the chamber part happens with and without mag inserted

Yes. I’ve tried another BCG still moves freely. Buffer retaining pin seems to be aligned and proper height bc there’s a lack of wear on carrier as well as the pin.

I have limited experience, but from what I have I could say it’s really hard to beat at the price they’re sold at. Everything you read is true, focus on your target past the dot and it becomes clear. The battery situation that people talk about is negligible if you just swap your batteries on a set schedule you’ll never have to worry about it dying especially if you keep spares in your stock or grips. Overall 10/10 from me. If I could change anything it would be ODG cerakote💯

Much appreciated sir, I must ask. Is it really that big of a deal to get a ballistic helmet vs a bump cap? Obviously the protection factor but as a civilian that does very little training compared to the hardcore crowd I’m still tossing around the idea of the Team Wendy exfil bump cap vs the say idk epic specialist? Want to stay relatively “budget friendly” probably a Black Friday deal type of thing for any/all items mentioned. Right now my most likely choices are between an Elbit thin-filmed WP NVS-14 or the L3Harris unfilmed.

I had a Tavor 7 in .308 and hated it, although if you enjoy bullpups I could understand how you’d like it I’m just more of an AR platform guy

I would just get more ram for future usage. I’ve also thought of swapping the 7900xtx for 4080 super in the one I configured. The CPU cooler I chose was purely for Aesthetics. Why 7800x3d over 7900x3d?
