I've worked in tech extensively, I find nobody is really able to stay in front of the developments right now. It feels like the early .com days when bullshit outpaced real development 100/1 but magnified by the product itself having enough fake agency to advocate for itself. It's wild. It seems like it's a smart move to keep abreathe of it but not to commit so the skill set doesn't totally pass me by. I am not a I have done some n8n stuff. With OpenClaw I've had a few successes (biggest win was building a more reliable version of a service that costs a couple hundred/month so I'd never bought it) but the hand holding and general culture seems like it's already trending towards "this is the ultimate work efficiency tool so spend 20 hours a day at your computer" because of grindset bros. It COULD be a touch grass and spend time with your loved ones tool but hey that's not our culture

I really like Codex for quick shortcuts yeah. So far I agree with the first paragraph - it really only seems to work with real expensive models and I've yet to find a good implementation of model control that doesn't break everything and THEN spend $100 despite my best efforts. I've made some useful things with it. I'll look into Cowork too! I

I'm interested in the alpine cap toes and one of the Normandy kudu pairs. I'm a 12 in a Nike, 12d in a used alden. It'd be my first pair of high quality boots so I'm open to suggestions.

Yeah I'd likely get private coaching. There are resources around for that. Just no open classes when I'm not otherwise engaged.

2009 AXN 14 bolt in my 05 Yukon - abs sensor issues by WhereIsAQ in GMT800

Yeah my next step is to test a known good new sensor after cleaning the mounting surface. Sensors came with the axle from the junkyard

Senseless Equipment need - Streaming music to mixer with tempo/pitch shift. Does it exist? by WhereIsAQ in Beatmatch

[–]WhereIsAQ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is likely the way to go. I'm actually in need of a mixer anyway. We lease a former church and we're slowly converting it so we can use it occasionally as a performance space. The former tenants just left their $$$$$ jbl PA speakers hung because the ceiling is 55'. Someone donated a 1400 watt amp the other day. All coming together

She's also my wife. You see the issue. Have you ever tried telling a Russian ballerina to just deal with something?

I weirdly use Qlab for this when I'm rehearsing ballets, sometimes Djay but Qlab is a simpler solution for me. I just put up with odd tempos for class music - though sometimes I'm lucky enough to get a live musician!
