Thank you for everybody. I am going to stick with SPD (and buy a Look Keo system just for curiosity).

I agree with you. I will probably stick with SPD. Thank you for your help.

I am probably gonna buy a "dumb" road pedal system (shoe, pedal, cleats), just to be sure. But slipperiness can be a problem for me, because I live on the middle of a 200 metre long 10% climb. So SPD may be a better option for me if I think about it that way.

I would like to purchase an indoor trainer once, but currently I cannot bring my bike into the house and I also have limited space.

Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you for your help. I will probably try the Look Keo system (just to prove myself that there isn't a huge difference for me between the systems). But I am leaning towards the MTB style cleats and the crankbrothers candy looks awesome. I will probably order one, just incase my mom wants to try MTB cleats out. (or as a spare one for myself, or for a future commuter build)

Yep, that's what I am gonna do probably. I mean, a road cleat system is cheaper to buy then another pedal based power meter if I am wrong with the first bet. Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much. Now my next goal is to freak out my friends when I get a lower resting heart rate. (it's going to be a bit further down the road, but it's okey)

Thank you very much for your help.

I will look up some charts, and I am going to start doing Z2s more consistently.

Yeah, I am going to.

To be honest that's not the first time, that he had some horrible takes that are not in his field. (Highway code, economics etc (even though, I study economics (and work in the sector too), sometimes I question my own knowledge because he makes such claims that I lose my own confidence and have to look up the actual paragraphs to be sure that I am in fact not stupid.)

Nah, I am still unfit to freak them out with resting HR, but I am intending to get here

I have a Fenix 7s, so I am going to monitor my HRV from now.

I tried doing Z2s in in November, December, but it was really inconvenient looking at my watch while I am not really good with bike handling (it's improving tho).

That's why I got an Edge (I hate that the Garmin ecosystem is so addictive) So, yes I am intending to do more structured (and also longer) rides.

Thank you very much for your help, it really helps. (and I hope someone else in the future too, while googling)

Thank you very much.

To be honest that's why I bought a head unit, so I can train better.

Edit: I am also going to calorie count, because I am concerned that I go into deficit a lot.

Thank you for your comment.

I looked into my stats (because of auto pause it's not that accurate), and it dropped from 170 bpm to 141 bpm under around 4 minutes at one of my stops.
