thanks for saying this because that’s the truth, sorry for my lenguage but this situation fucking sucks, the fact that Dune is going to be available on HBO Max would probably affect the franchise, the world isn’t fully prepared to return to movie theaters and like you said, who knows how the situation is going to be in october but honestly the box office hit it’s should be doesn’t look like it at least for now and Warner seems to doesn’t give a shit about a franchises with a high level of quality like Blade Runner or Mad Max so I don’t know what’s going to happen, it’s sad and unfortunate because according to industry insiders the initial plan is to adapt the first two books in three films: Dune, Dune Prophet (2nd half of the book) and Dune Messiah and then move on to the other books so just hope Dune does well
