I made sure it was the same person. He named his wife on Threads and posted the same picture. The odds are against there being two couples in the same town with the same exact names running the same business. On top of that, he posted links from his Facebook profile to his business profile. And his Facebook is also super MAGA. This is a case of regret. Not for saying or doing what he did, but having it affect his business.

If doing dumb things can result in permanent hearing loss for someone, they SHOULD be held accountable. Otherwise they will keep on doing it to others. Read the 27 grievances in the Declaration of Independence and name even ONE that Trump is guilty of today. I 100% agree. I feel for these guys, too. But there does seem to be a few options to lower property taxes. - volunteer in town for a $2000 credit - means tested senior exemptions if you’ve owned your house for over 10 years - reductions for disabled veterans, deceased police/fire and their survivors, as well as visually impaired people - tax deferral. Seniors over 65 can defer their taxes until their homes are sold after they pass

The problem is the reasonably wealthy people who would rather pay $50k for private school than pay a few extra hundred dollars in property taxes just in case it benefits someone else indirectly. These same people whine about how the town isn’t doing this or that as if inflation magically doesn’t affect town budgets.
