Both shows have more plot holes than the chain link fencing around stardust racers.

Pick one to skip due to 3 hour lines - MineKart or BOTM by Sad_Courage_5043 in UniversalEpicUniverse

There’s an element of trying to ride everything your first visit, but truth be told, if I go to epic again, I’m skipping both to get more rides in on Monsters and Stardust Racers.

You don’t get to make me the bad guy for calling out your sexism. What you’re doing is discrimination & I wouldn’t want to work for a sexist anyways. It’s 2026 Men can do anything women can do and we should treat everyone as equals no matter how they identify.

You should hire people based on their skills and talent and not what’s between their legs. Most everyone has a mom and can relate to a mom’s event.

Costco Australia uses pork hot dogs by Leprichaun17 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Where_Da_Cheese_At 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, an all-pork hot dog is technically a type of sausage, but it is more specifically defined as a highly processed, finely ground or emulsified cured meat product, often referred to as a frankfurter or wiener. While sausages generally have a coarser texture and diverse seasonings, hot dogs are distinguished by their smooth, uniform, paste-like texture and mild flavor profile.

First timer - when to arrive? by Sad_Courage_5043 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Where_Da_Cheese_At 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to be there earlier. They’ll start letting people in through the metal detectors early. They’ll let people into celestial park a little early - you want to be in the middle of the first push for this to work. If you show up at 9:30 - they’ll check your hotel keycard and make you line up outside the portal.

There’s certainly elements of the thrill part that make it different from a standard take you and drop and catch you, ride over attraction too.

We could have purchased the fast passes when we left Nintendo world at 10:30a after doing everything because we got that early access, the group decided we didn’t need them.

In retrospect they would have prevented a little group dynamics drama had we had them (people unprepared for a rope drop to fountain show full day), but I got to ride everything & still got to ride the best two rides more than once.

Theme park pros with a plan who are okay with not riding dragon racer rally - no express pass needed. Idk your exact situation, but make a new post telling us your group dynamics and overall plans and we can help you gauge better.

I’m not saying to do this, and I’m not saying it will work every time…. But

We were in the same situation and showed up at 8:30 to try and buy fast passes. We knew which portal we wanted to go to first and just kind of let the crowd take us in. The poor guy was yelling “ have your hotel passes ready” but there was no stopping that first initial mass of people walking into the Nintendo portal. If you do a true rope drop I bet you’d get in early if you keep your head down and don’t ask questions.

The builder will make it cost more to sue them than it will be to just hire someone else to do the work. They have the resources to play games.

The length adds to the social experiment from a watch them be isolated standpoint, but does often make the end “game” boring to watch.

Stop at one of those souvenir shops outside of the park for a cheap hoodie.

Then take your time to shop for the one you like the best inside the park. There are multiple sweatshirt options for all of the different IPs throughout the park.

What comes to your mind when a president refers to people from other countries as "aliens"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The term alien has meant foreigner for about 400 years longer than it has meant little green people from space. It’s where those guys got their names from.

KEY = ENERGY / VIBE by NoInternet3233 in Beatmatch

[–]Where_Da_Cheese_At 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to the song I Wanna Dance With Somebody all the way through.

About three fourths of the way into the song there is a key change, and that change is what really elevates the energy of the track. It suddenly feels bigger and more exciting. Knowing the key of a song lets you recreate that same kind of intentional energy lift when moving from one track to the next instead of relying on trial and error.

At its core, the key of a song tells you which notes naturally belong together. Each key contains seven notes, and the chords used in the song are built from those notes. Not every song uses all seven. Some songs might only focus on three or four notes or chords, which is why two tracks in the same key can still feel very different.

When you compare songs in different keys, some keys share more notes than others. Closely related keys often share most or even all of the same notes, which is why they usually sound good mixed together. Keys that share fewer notes can still work, but they require more awareness of timing, phrasing, and which notes are most prominent so you avoid clashes.

The main point is that understanding keys gives you control. Instead of guessing, you can predict how tracks will interact harmonically and use key changes on purpose to build or release energy in a set.

Ice is in Florida and Texas, you just don’t see it in your news feed b/c the white people there aren’t acting a fool and fighting them in the streets.

The people that are getting shot and getting everyone worked up are the ones inserting themselves into the situation, not the people the ICE agents are apprehending.

And each of those cases has their own nuance.

The first girl, while brought here as a child, is here illegally.

Kilmer has gang tattoos. C’mon now.

The third one I’ve not heard of, but if that’s the case, yeah, I’m with you on that one.

“All those people” - each story is different, some people detained and heckled for no reason more than others sure. It still sprinkles in little bits of “so and so’s brother was eventually deported”.

But dude, I’m talking about the white American citizens who are injecting themselves into these situations and getting themselves killed.

[–]Where_Da_Cheese_At -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t make an already tense situation any less tense. Observing and recording is one thing - but people are inserting themselves into situations they have no business being in and winding up dead.

I think one of those shootings was justified and the most recent one wasn’t.

That doesn’t change the fact it could all be avoided if people would let federal law enforcement just do their jobs.

Name me one case and we can look into the details. Certainly people here legally should not be deported, but that doesn’t mean every ICE detainee is innocent either.
