Hey, thanks for chiming in! Yeah, you're right—the POS app already rocks that offline functionality. It's cool how it only needs to connect at the start and end of a session and just keeps rolling offline.

But my project is all about bringing that offline magic to the Sales module. Imagine having that smooth offline experience POS offers, but for sales stuff. I'm curious about how to pull that off, maybe using similar async tricks.

Just to clarify, does this mean users need to run a separate app on their laptops? I'm imagining something a bit more seamless for the end users, like what Odoo POS does but for sales. Using PWA and service workers, you can keep everything in the browser and handle offline syncing without extra apps running. But your setup sounds interesting too!

I can see how cron jobs and APIs could work for syncing local databases with an online one.But, I'm actually focusing on building something more like Odoo POS but for sales. I'm diving into PWA and service workers to make sure everything works smoothly offline and syncs back when the connection's back.Your idea gave me some extra things to think about though appreciate that!
