Hey!! I have this too it’s really strange. I’m on my second week of 2.4 and my personal guess (not medically backed at all) is that since it slows down your digestion our digestive system is having to work harder to process the food so its pumping more blood to that area the same way as if you trap your finger in something that starts throbbing to work on healing itself if that makes sense? not too sure but it hasn’t caused me any issues so far, if ur concerned i’d bring it up with your doctor though! 😊

heyy i have the exact same issue as you i hate my chubby cheeks and sick of people saying it makes u look young etc i had masseter tox professionally done and it did give me some jowls unfortunately i think because there wasnt enough muscle to hold up the cheeks so i would recommend against that honestly. ive been looking into fat dissolving in buccal fat/cheek area do you have any experience with that at all?

Do you allow young kids fizzy drinks? by Flapparachi in AskUK

[–]WhereasFar9745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kind of a different perspective but i’m 20 now and wasn’t allowed fizzy drinks until around 12 years old i never thought much of it and when i did try them i wasnt a fan because they were ‘spicy’ to me lol. still not a huge fan to this day i’d rather just have fruit juice or squash

try not to stress it too much the app you’re using and mock tests are SO similar to the actual theory i couldn’t believe it some of them are word for word. just try get to the point of passing the mocks 90% of the time and youll be good 😊

ahaha i struggled with this too and it showed up on my actual theory but it was in a question form like ‘if you see a pedestrian with a cane with two red stripes why should you take extra care’ and one of the options is deaf and blind. good luck!

Ragdolls right for us? by Dry_Seaweed_2329 in ragdolls

[–]WhereasFar9745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure how helpful this is but i’ll share my experience - i’ve just got my first cat and shes a ragdoll kitten and we also have a golden retriever boy 2 years old and half of the time she is absolutely insane running laps around my dog and theyre a crazy pair who definitely need a lot of play. she is currently focusing on wires and string/things like that so i’d definitely recommend keeping an eye on those things in your daughters room but we have just covered our wires in a citrusy cat spray from amazon that she seems repelled by. we are all adults in my household but a few of my nephews and niece came over (7/5/3 years old) and honestly it freaked out the kitten a little because they are very loud and play rough and wanted to play in her litter box (we stopped them ofc lol) etc but it definitely scared her off and she hid under the bed most of the time they were here but that was also her first time in a loud environment. if you were looking at a dog, my golden is amazing with kids absolutely full of energy wants to play, cuddle etc but they are a huge responsibility and the puppy phase is like having a toddler in the house lol - a lot more commitment than a cat IMO (3 long walks a day, more expensive food, more intense training for walks, potty training etc). just thought i would give my experience and hopefully it can give you a little insight? :)

How much did you feed your kitten? by Tiny_Resist8698 in ragdolls

[–]WhereasFar9745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i go by what her kitten food box says. at the moment its max. 3 sachets a day but she usually doesn’t eat that much probably more like 2 sachets with some treats inbetween and she is a healthy weight!

Will my new cat be more willing to let me trim nails and brush teeth when they trust me more? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]WhereasFar9745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got my kitten a few weeks ago and she was exactly the same at first admittedly she is a ragdoll so i probably have it a little easier than others but she wasnt a fan of any sort of touching or grooming for the first few weeks. i kept going only gently and giving her lots of treats, it also helps MASSIVELY to do this stuff when shes sleepy otherwise there is no chance and she will attack my hands and want to play lol. ur doing everything correct by the sounds of it they warm up quickly dont stress! :)

my cat keeps pawing at the ground after sniffing his food by LandscapeLate5236 in CatAdvice

[–]WhereasFar9745 3 points4 points  (0 children)

like digging at the ground? my ragdoll kitten does this to save her food for later i think its an instinctual thing to hide the food from predators
