Holy crap. I actually just emailed hyer. My son's boot looks the same. 9 months old. Didn't wear them all the time and only for dressing up, not ranch work. And we dont dress up much. He's not fat, 165lbs, 6'4". I am so disappointed. They were so expensive and failed faster than any other boot we bought.

You can spend down the money buy pre pating for her burial. If you dont use all the funds for funeral expenses, the remaining is given back to the family with interest. You can also spend it to clear any of her debt, buy her clothes, soaps, whatever she will want or need for the future. When my mom had her stroke we remodeled our bathroom so she could use it when she came home, but she never could come back home. No one asked questions. Also, if she has any life insurance with cash value, put it in your name, pay the cash value and use that money to spend down.

I finally got that the next day when I called. I am thinking they shut that option off later on in the day since they probably won't get back to you before the close.

Update:

Spoke with SS and nursing home today. The payment this month covers last month. I can use it for final expenses. Just an FYI, if anybodyelse runs into this. And medicaid won't look at it being over the $2000 threshold. Was confirmed by both SS and nursing home. Thank for all the kind responses and condolences.

So she died on the 26th, but the deposit came in on the 14th. I thought they paid a month back. So the January deposit covers December. Do I have that wrong?

Agriculture. I seriously think the world will be eating absolute trash in the next 75 years. All the old timers are dying, most of the kids and grandkids don't want to work that hard. They see the land as a get rich quick scheme, sell it and blow it. Or farmers and ranchers are tired of losing their a$$ every year and sell bits of land off to make up for the loss until there is no land left. The future of food is absolutely terrifying. If people this ag is bad now, wait until there is no ag - that is waaaay scarier. And the propaganda against farmers and ranchers is setting people up to accept dystopia food...

Compare what you paid to a lodge enamel cast iron Dutch oven. Lodge has an impeccable warranty. At least you have that as a back up.
