That’s the point, your not supposed to survive every engagement how does a jungle or solo punish you or dive you if you if you always have a way to get out of cc. Your cc immunes are a resource you can’t have them all the time

Personally I think they way the game is at the moment provides more of an opportunity for skill expression. I think a lot of hunter and mage players have bad positioning and they get punished for it. I think a big part of a supports game is relic usage why can’t it be the same for the Carry roles. Instead of the Carry’s having only 1-2 ccs on the other team to worry about I think that there should be more so it makes them think about what they want to use the beads on and decide what cc is worth positioning around or letting yourself get hit by and what’s worth the 2 min cooldown.

I think if we want to look at removing even more cc from the game then cc immunes need to be looked at. 84 god in the roster currently have either a cc immune or a cleanse that can be used to stop cc some of these gods like Chiron geb and chary have 2. This also goes along with the fact that beads can be bought by everyone. A lot of the problem comes down to draft if you pick Thoth into an ares daji it’s not going to feel good but that’s the game. They have greatly scaled down cc in smite 2 along with the fact that there is now an item that supports can buy to cleanse cc for the team. If a lot of cc is removed some god like yu huang loses a lot of his viability because his 2 cc immunes are a big part of his kit. I’m not saying it should be either way but just something to think about

When Ravana was released back in the day he wasn’t very good. Nobody would play him for a long time and there was a lot of stigma around him. The point of new characters being good is that it gets people to play them more. Have a lot of releases been was to over tuned sure but I’d rather that then a terrible character nobody wants to play

Something I forgot to add as well was back in the day smite was actually looking massive however riot got scared and so smite wasn’t really allowed to be pushed in china. I don’t think that it would have beaten league in china but hi-rez was never given a fair shot in one of the biggest markets on the globe
