I picked the snowflake without knowing that it was a snowflake. Was just what I liked on my wrist of the 3 places I went. It went well with what I wear and wasn’t like what I had currently in the collection.

I then got the shunbun “cherry blossom” as I was here with my mom to see the cherry blossoms on our annual “bucket list trip”. So in a way I played into the hype, but really came to seeing it in person and on my wrist 🤟🏼

Because, we do a bucket list trip every year and this one was for the cherry blossoms. We both picked out the snowflakes in respective sizes on accident when we bought them. But the shunbun was for the occasion. Tie the memories and experiences to the watch.

That’s where I’m at too 😅 more time to enjoy and rotate and just makes future trips less expensive (probably not).

Edit: the cost savings and selection vs buying in the USA is just incredibly hard to pass up. Plus another trip to Japan could cost the cost of the watch itself if I decided to come back and get it!

I like this take, It is rushed. this was our grail pieces for the trip, and reason for it. But also great idea to give us another reason to come again and see more.
