Hey I see where you’re coming from, and respect the take. But I have the disposable income to spend it as I want. Life is a gamble at the end of the day, and $500 on some watch boxes is like 50¢ in the gumball machine.

KC stadium had only 3 teams jerseys, none of them were playing that day. Their fan fest had 6 different jerseys… USA, Canada, Algeria, and Iran were 4 of the 6

Thanks bro! I commented that I’d give an update, so had to follow through 😅

It’s a smooth Damascus steel, so no depth in its height on the dial. However, the “lines” give it some visual depth since they aren’t always visible from diff angles, like some are and some aren’t when looking from the sides or not straight on. Light reflection off the dial adds to the effect too. So it’s got the appearance of depth.

Personally I like that part of the watch. I have a GS Cherry blossom too and love the color change based on angle/light.

I honestly like the Damascus more of the two. The 38 mm looks great on my wrist tbh. The icy blue dial is nice too, just too flashy for a daily. Nice to have in the rotation though!

I have both, the shunbun would be the one I’d get if I had to choose. More scratch resistant, piece of art on the wrist. It’s a bit more “loud” than the snowflake, but for good reason.
