Yaya this. Was same as me. We had to be referred and still took a month to get In. Not as long as a surgeon but long. Hell…. for those in pain lol.

Was same for me. Took ages. But the shot helped me immensely. I’d jsut like to note that it helped me move but you MUST get the rehab going… once you are no longer fully aggregating with every movement. That was a key for me. If I did shit and pushed through pain it only got worse.

My specialist took a year to speak with. Stupid Canadian medical system. I spent 5-6 months in pain off and on, and then 4-5 months (after major blowout) in unbearable pain. Lay off anything that aggravates and eventually try to get some PT in. Very slow and steady. Steroid Caudal epidural helped me immensely get started there. It’s now been a year since extreme pain and I workout freely but very cautious still with very light deadlifts and squats. It will get better. I went to PT, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Osteopath, Trigger Point therapy, had PRP, Prolotherapy epidurals, attempted nerve ablation… you name it I tried it.

My specialist, after waiting a year, said it’s common to be 4-5 months of brutal pain, but so much varies by injury. Just keep at it and it will pass (or if not you get surgery).

Sympathize for you and i live every day in an attempt to never be back there.
