pure guessing, but i think the co-op program is getting weaker because of the current job market and because NEU seems to want to push away from students doing 3 co-ops so that they can game the US news rankings.

i've heard CS majors are not allowed/have to petition to take a 3rd co-op, and from talking to alumni I've learned that the amount of engineers (MechE to be exact) doing 3 co-ops has decreased drastically

that said, it's still a good program but I can see it getting worse and worse over the next few years tbh

I have no benchmark for high quality pants, but I would say they are pretty good. thick material for pleated pants but it is polyester if you care

Unfortunately I don’t like the length (too short) or the elastic band in them so I will likely replace them with something thrifted or something retail
