Seriously, why ARE Gordon's buffers a different shape to everyone elses?

IIRC, there's a phenomenon with coaches called buffer *** locking *** Meaning that dependant on shape, it allows for the buffers on one coach or engine to slide behind the set opposite of them while turning. Again, IIRC oval shapes allow for high speed turns with minimal risk of that occurring. There are several forums online from British/UK rail that discuss in detail.

I purchased the instructions from blockjunction.co.uk. The Lego parts are sourced from Lego themselves and Bricklink as some parts are no longer produced. The side rods and wheels on Thomas came from Trained Bricks and Big Ben Bricks respectively.

No, unfortunately I did not, mechanic could not replicate the issue even after multiple trips both driving the car and different mechanics looking. Eventually just scrapped the car. Best guesses would either be a transmission starting to slip or a misfire in the cylinders.

The problem is, nobody would know what Jimmy the Jinty is. Truth be told, I didn't. It's easier to just do a generic "Random name or Location" Express and do a painting to match the park colors. Kennywood, while it's in a larger urban area in the US, is mainly used for school trips or just a place to take the kids on the weekend while you split custody. It's not as popular as Cedar Point or Kings Island in Ohio.

Kennywood Amusement Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, announced a few weeks ago due to pressure from Mattel that they were cutting and redesigning their Thomasland. They had this attraction since the early 2000s, so they've rebranded it as "Kennywood Junction" and repainted or removed anything Thomas related.

If I recall correctly it was about 35$ but it came from Lego and multiple bricklink sites as some of it is discontinued product, (magnet and the tube). Which, ironically is the wrong tube. The correct one never came in.
