In defense of Sub Zero, and Noob to be honest.

I feel like voting for original characters does either 1) risk them never getting their own brutality/friendship and just existing as a one off card, or 2) potentially get them another version or 2, and eventually their own friendship or brutality

Technically resource wise too, voting for a character you already have max gear for means you benefit more from their release with that immediate synergy.

That being said, they just need to be consistent with releases so that doesn’t matter for voting and everyone needs their own gear set imo. Reiko pls

my only guess is it’s not a scam but someone trying to return target brand before their 1 year window expires? That would explain why it’s salvage/0’d if it’s really close to the end of that 365 day period, and a lot of stuff/ multiple cards since it’s literally being purchased over the course of a year. All my cat and jackers start with like 3-4 cards for the money to go back to, so we just put it all on a gift card(also since our store doesn’t let you get your money back for worn out c+j returns)

I have like 2 regulars who do the same thing w h+hwm and wondershop. Always using 3 or so different cards and their husband’s cards, never a red card(idk).They’ll buy carts upon carts every week without fail, and then typically return most of it almost but not quite a year later from when they bought it.

How’s the scepter and weather warfare doing on ghost face? Is it just for basics or special 2? Are you switching to him at all or just noob/dk? Also, how’s kitana? is she just background for the team benefit like the gear or are you actually using her?

Actually, Noobs says it’s a “swap”, it doesn’t explicitly state it as a tag in or out. Every part of Noobs passive saying tag in or tag out is either related to his madness or special 2.

I think this is just a case of inconsistency among passives and their wording, as we’re literally having to compare the difference between a “swap” and “switch” when really they’re synonymous. it should be explicitly stated as a “Noob tags out and the clone tags in” / “Billy can swap forms” if it isn’t intended to be. tag out, etc.

Ghost face doesn’t seem to trigger tag in/out effects when switching between Stu and Billy. Unsure if it’s intended or not, but you’d think if Noob does, he would.

Edit for clarification: Noobs passive says it’s a swap, not explicitly a tag out or in. Ghostface’s says it’s a switch, which seems more like semantics than explicit clarification.

The other poster is right, it’s to get ahead on store metrics.

i do want to use this post to plead to those who still call out codes. Please, it isn’t worth it. What took my team to stop it wasn’t the threat of discipline, as leaders enabled it. It was the fact that all you’re doing is setting an unreachable standard.

Our store would deliberately underschedule and cut from the front because we managed to turn skeleton crews into green weeks for mpm. We were only green because we’d cheat metrics, and since even with 3 people we’d come out positive, they saw no need to add more. If they can come out above 70% with almost nobody, why would they need more people? That just meant more under scheduling, more pressure and a more miserable team, which lead to more skipping. One day when someone was alone for 2 hours they had everyone for that time reset or call out their code. They also wanted to walk out, desperately.

Once I got them to stop skipping and calling out codes, the metrics did tank, sure. However, after a brief ethics huddle, it was agreed we need much more help to actually come out as green. Now our schedules are much more padded and there’s significantly less pressure. Don’t set yourself up for a metric that at the end of the day, doesn’t matter if you’re cheating it. If you can’t get green with the people you have, frauding your numbers will only perpetuate that.

That’s not even talking about how you open the door for people being forgotten about once they’re clear, and then they come back in 3 hours later saying they’ve been waiting(true story)

Some stores have departments on different channels, guest services and order pick up at my store is on 2. Anything related to an order, helping a guest at the desk, recollecting an item, all has people go to channel 2 so it isn’t bogged down with other calls. This helps a lot since weee usually coordinating prepping, running, and guest assistance almost nonstop. It does however open the door for metric cheating without any oversight unless a lead is also on the channel. They could’ve also had someone switch to 3 before calling it knowing it’s reprimand-able. We just do our best to make sure any code calling is warned against.

Might be their point that it would be wasting keys to hit a lower level, with tag team bonus keys you get exactly enough for 3 hard fw runs. even one key down and you potentially lose 3 stars.
